Mornings
We meet at 11am every Sunday morning.
The service generally finishes between 12.00 and 12.15pm, after which there is time to chat and meet others in the back hall, with tea, coffee and biscuits available.
We meet in the main church and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Sunday morning service includes time for singing, prayer, and Bible reading, followed by a sermon teaching us from the Bible passage which has been read. Generally the pastors will preach a series of sermons going through one Bible book, or perhaps on a specific topic.
Once a month (generally the third Sunday in the month), we have communion at the end of the morning service.
There is an “all age” service approximately every 2 months, when the children and teenagers stay in church throughout the service.
We use the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible in our services, and there are copies available in church.
There is no “dress code” for any of our services.
Evenings
Evening services start at 6.00pm and are held on the second, fourth, and fifth Sundays of the month.
The services on the second and fourth Sundays are for communion. They provide an opportunity for Christians to meet together to remember Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross and his resurrection, by sharing a “meal” of bread and wine (we use gluten free bread and a non-alcoholic wine substitute). All are welcome to attend the service, but only Christians should partake of the remembrance meal.
On any fifth Sunday evenings, we have a visiting speaker who leads the service and teaches us from God’s word, the Bible.
There is no “dress code” for any of our services.
